Measures against Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infection
From Kakurean Hidaji
Thank you for your support for Kakurean Hidaji.
With the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections, we have taken the following measures to prevent infection so our guests can stay with us safely, as well as hygiene control wherever possible for the health and safety of our guests and employees.
1. All meals will be served in a private room seating.
2. During check-in, your body temperature will be taken and we ask your cooperation to fill out a health condition form.
* We will need you to please refrain from staying with us if you have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher, as per the instruction of the public health center.
3. We will limit the number of guests to check-in, and we ask you to wear a face mask.
4. The guest rooms are disinfected and deodorized using an ozone generator.
5. Alcohol disinfectants are placed in various locations.
・Please refrain from staying with us if you don’t feel well. Confirm your physical condition before your departure, as we will take your body temperature at the time of check-in.
・The number of guests to check-in simultaneously is limited to avoid congestion. We might need to have you wait in your vehicle.
・You will be asked to wear a face mask when you are in the common area. (If you don’t have one, we will provide you.)
・As for the alcohol disinfectant described in 5., we ask the guests to disinfect before entering the building and you have your meals. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
・We have disinfectants available for use in the guest room if needed.
This is [Basic Plan].
The Kakurean Hidaji is a small inn of just twelve rooms nestled quietly amongst the Fukuji Hot Springs and an unspoiled landscape in the foothills of Japan's Northern Alps. The inn itself features nostalgic architecture and interiors typical of the Hida area that embrace the natural beauty of Okuhida's changing seasons throughout the year.During the time you spend here in the tranquil ambiance away from the busy routines of life in the city, there is a good chance that you will remember those precious little things you forgot.
━━※< Room >※━━
All rooms have a sitting room of 4.5 tatami-mat size with a sunken table connected to a Japanese-style bedroom of 10 tatami-mat size, and come with private open-air and indoor baths made from cypress wood that ensure absolute privacy. All rooms have the same floor plan. All rooms come with a private rock-decorated open-air bath that exude an air of liberation and an indoor bath made entirely from cypress wood. Every room ensures absolute privacy when bathing outdoors, so you can bathe at any time of the day or night, as many times as you like.
━━※< Meal >※━━
The Hida area features a wide assortment of seasonal foods that are harvested over the course of the year. Dinner is prepared with seasonal delights sourced from the local area and served around an open hearth. The presentation is by no means ostentatious, as the Hidaji serves traditional rustic cuisine with warm hospitality.Depending on the time of year, guests can savor on the local specialty grandma's home-made potatoes, stone-seared Hida beef, char skewers and cooked rice cakes.
※Restaurant is prohibition of smoking.
━━※< Open-air baths >※━━
●An open-air bath and an inner bath of a hinoki are located in all rooms.
●The Hidaji has also two riverside open-air baths that guests can enjoy beside the baths in their rooms. Time passes slowly as you soak in total soothing bliss to the murmur of the river.
